Thoughts on Technology

When was the last time you used a form of technology? How about, can you remember the first pieces of technology you've ever used? I do. I remember the first time I used a computer was in the 1st grade. It was a IBM and an Apple Mac. This was like the year 1993 or something. I even remember the big, gigantic, disks that were used to save information. Do you remember what the screens looked liked? They were like greenish, nothing as eye appealing as now. Then the technology began to change disks sizes became smaller and smaller as well as computers. I would like for you to think as far back as possible to when you were younger, what was the technology like then? Please share something interesting!!!

Oh wow. You just made me think way back into Elementary when I got a detention, I think for talking too much in class, I had to sit in the computer room. I don't remember much about the computers until I was in middle school and we had to do typing and things on the computers, but I just remember always having to bring in those floppy disks into class for my homework. I think I used floppy disks all the way up through high school... and finally in college I got a flash drive and I had no idea how to use it because I was so behind. LOL! Thanks for opening up my eyes for a moment that was really neat to take a trip down memory lane.

Math Blasters and Oregon Trail!!!
I remember a digital design class I took in middle school. We had to use equations to make dots appear in various places on the screen. So, I used a bunch of equations to make an "Airwalk" logo. All the images we made had to be a simple black and white image, and Airwalk was cool back then.
